How to Make a Card Table Pirate Ship Fort

Apr 3, 2015 | Blog

Have you seen the amazing card table forts on Pinterest?   They are incredible and a bit pricey but I want ALL of them sooo bad.

After seeing this easy looking pirate ship from ServingPinkLemonade, I thought we would make one as a weekend craft project.

We basically copied this one exactly, well, as best as we could and it turned out great!

No sewing required, instead my girls and I used our hot glue guns to create our Pirate Ship Fort!

You will need:

A card table

A hot glue gun

Sharp scissors

3 1/2 meters of felt for the base (we choose brown)

1 meter of felt for the top (we choose light beige)

1/2 meter for shutters door (we choose a darker light beige)

1/2 meter for curtains and flag (we choose striped fabric and made a sail with the leftover)

No pattern required, really! So easy, so fast and under $40 total!

A small investment for hours and hours of pirate fun!

Our costumes we have had forever and almost all our supplies came from the dollar store.
