Make a Coffee Bar!

Nov 2, 2010 | Blog

So, I often creep my subscribers blogs, just to see if they have anything cool uploaded themselves! I have found some very interesting and some very disturbing things my subscribers have uploaded, but I wanted to share with you a few of the interesting things today.

One of my subscribers, thekiddiesandme, always posts the nicest comments. Yesterday, I clicked on her name and discovered that she too has a blog!! After reading a couple posts I came across her coffee bar post! I was super inspired and made my own! Love this idea, especially since winter is coming and we drink a lot of hot drinks…except for coffee…but yes, you can have a coffee bar sans coffee!

I filled a pretty basket with jars of tea, cappuccino and hot chocolate and then added packages of flavoured teas and other to-go cappuccino packs. Voila, a coffee bar!

So, moving on. I also creeped thegreenapplehome, one of my Youtube subscribers and found a recipe for Pumpkin Spice cake that is so yummy, you’ll die! Just a regular old box of Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix, follow the directions, but instead of 1 and 1/3 cup of water you add a can of pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) and 1/3 cup water….just so we are super clear, substitute the cup of water with a regular sized can of pumpkin! IT IS SO YUMMY. Just remember to grease your pans and do not use paper liners if your making cupcakes.

She also had a cool skeleton bones bread sticks for Halloween dinner. Our Halloween dinner was bloody guts (spaghetti), bloody Jack-o-lanterns (stuffed orange peppers) and fire-ant salad (dried cranberries)…next year I’m totally adding skeleton bones! Great tip.  To check out her blog, click here
