Again, with the Michaels decor. We have a love/hate relationship!! I LOVE the distressed, teal/aqua colours but I HATE the prices!

This beautiful frame is the perfect colour and was screaming to come home with me! But the price? $50! Yikes! I decided to make one and guess what? It turned out EXACTLY the same and I spent only $3! I smell a Christmas gift!

I picked up an old frame from a thrift store for only $1.50, painted it, distressed it (aka sanded lightly and rubbed some dark stain on it) and stapled twine to the back! I used my paper stapler, and it worked great!! Finally I bought some mini clothespins from Michaels ($2.00 for a bag) and stained them!  I think it will be a perfect Christmas card holder!!
