I’m lazy. I love having a clean house, but I don’t want to spend hours scrubbing to get it that way. I’m always trying new cleaning products and tools to find the fastest and easiest way to clean my house…and I have a few I just couldn’t live without!
My Roomba: Let’s be honest, it isn’t the greatest vacuum out there and although I still vacuum with the traditional vacuum often, for those quick clean ups or lazy days, it’s a life saver.
Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner with Bleach: This product means NEVER having to scrub bathtub rings or soap scum. It also cleans those hard to get rid of stains on my white appliance handles (my fridge handle is the worst) and though is does have a bleach smell, it goes away quickly and leaves my bathroom squeaky clean without me ever having to scrub!
This is the part where usually I talk about my Swifffer Wet Jet. I swear I have tried every mop on the market. Old school bee mops work well, but gross me out. I just always imagine the germs living in that dirty sponge…the same goes for those rag mops… they just don’t feel clean enough to me. I bought the Vileda micro fiber mop, but it does not glide nice AT ALL and it is way to much work pushing that sucker across the floor. I think I actually have three or four different types of micro fiber mops, I just can’t find one that glides nicely once damp…they just stick to the floor! So, that left me with the best of the worst; My Swiffer Wet Jet.
The Swiffer is handy and cleans well, but it leaves a bit of a residue and the refills and pads are insanely expensive. Not to mention that I’ve heard it’s not safe for pets and babies who may lick the floor. Enter…(drum roll please) THE GREATEST MOP EVER MADE!!! I have been using the Rubbermaid reveal mop for over a week now and I am in love. It is durable, requires NO BATTERIES, has washable pads and you can use any floor cleaner you like! Did I mention it is amazing?? It is really well made and best of all, the pads glide like butter across the floor.
You can buy extra pads including wet or dry dusting pads and it has an easy trigger for spraying the solution. The pad is about twice as wide as a swiffer, making mopping even faster!! Did I mention it is the same price as a Swiffer Wet Jet? And if you are like me and already own a wet jet, the money you save not buying refills makes the price of this mop more than worth it!
I know I go ga-ga over cleaning products way too often, but this is by far my favourite and I wholeheartedly recommend it. You will love this mop and it will save you time when cleaning your house.
