Organizing a Learning Centre for your Child

Nov 11, 2015 | YouTube

Let’s get organized!
For over eight years I have been using a “Learning Centre” with my own children as well as my daycare kids as a way of teaching letters, numbers and so much more.

If you are interested in started a “Learning Centre”, here are some links to my favourite educational toys and games that we use:

A B SEAS Alphabet Learning Game: http://amzn.to/1HGsDGb
Melissa & Doug See & Spell: http://amzn.to/20Lggo2
UNO MOO Game: http://amzn.to/1PBbRPa
Animal Flash Cards: http://amzn.to/1PBbWST

We use our “Learning Centre” during our daily “Circle Time” or “School Time”.

The trick to keeping children engaged with educational toys is to keep them special and out of sight. Store your educational toys separate from your child’s regular toys and bring them out one at a time, without any other toys to distract.

I spend 20-30 minutes a day with Milo (3) doing letter and number recognition, matching games and other educational activities. Pre-order my NEW book for just $11.57 here: http://amzn.to/2jOhroD
